Certification of AMS according EN 15267, Part3 -overview and first experience.
General
The series of EN 15267-1 to 15267-3 describes the Certification of Automated Measuring Systems (AMS). EN 15267-3 / Part 3 define the performance criteria and procedures for performance testing of AMS which measure gases and particulate matter in flue gas from stationary sources. In Germany this European Standard has replaced the VDI 4203 Part 2 from 2004 and the “Uniform Practice in monitoring emissions” from 2005. The EN 15267-3 provides the detailed procedures covering the QAL1 requirements of EN 14181 and the input data used in QAL3.
Test laboratories for the certification of AMS shall be accredited to EN ISO/IEC 17025 and the appropriate test standards for carrying out the tests defined in this standard.
Contents of presentation
This presentation should give an overview on the new certification standard and the first practical experience with it. The following parts will be considered:
- Test procedures and requirements
- Performance characteristics
- First experiance and evaluations (gaseouse and particulate components)
- Comparison to prior requirements
- Typicall Problems
- Calculation of total uncertainty
- Special requierements in laboratory and field
Summary
